2. When the clock hits 21:00 we will have a minute of silence in 109 to honor the victims in Uvalde. We recognize victims in Buffalo, Tulsa, Philly, and around the country as well, however if we add up all the gun violence victims since Buffalo it’s more than 90’, so 21 was selected.
3. Post match the End Gun Violence banner will be dropped to the field and featured in the MOTM photos.
4. We will post a message to social medias regarding End Gun Violence with photos of the march, minute of silence, and MOTM as well as links to local and national gun violence prevention organizations.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
-Wear Orange
-Make a sign regarding gun violence and hold up instead of your scarf during our march, minute of silence, and MOTM.
-March with San Diegans 4 Gun Violence Prevention on SATURDAY MORNING AT 10AM in Encinitas and downtown SD (sd4gvp.org).

The newly elected Officers and the Congress are gathering to plan the 2022 calendar and events for preseason and the opening match.
Do you want to know how the Locals are run? Maybe volunteer to help lead yourself?
Come join us at the event on January 23, 2022 to learn and participate in the election for the director roles within Locals leadership as well as a members vote on dues cost to get the voting engines fired up.
Since tailgating in the traditional sense is prohibited at USD, we will be holding an SG pregame with food, drinks, and games!
The event will be held north of the Jenny Craig Pavilion (parking info below) near the baseball field (see map [Link to Google Maps]. Signage will be in place to help guide you to the event. Alcohol will be served, but the event is open to all ages. The event will start at 4:30pm with entrance available until capacity (200 persons) or 6:15pm.
NOTE: Get there early, only the first 200 who attend will be let in, due to still existing venue restrictions on large gatherings.
Highlights will include the arrivals of the Loyal and the away side during the pregame event and The March To The Match. The March To The Match will be at an hour before the match and we will march to greet the players entering the stadium.
This is a ticketed event, so you are required to have a ticket to the game to enter Bum’s Barking Lot. You and your bags will be checked prior to entering the event (stadium policy below). This allows us to enter the stadium at the end of the March. Bathrooms will be available for use. All food and drink vendors will accept cash and cards. No animals, other than service and party, will be allowed.
At approximately one hour before kickoff, the March To The Match will start. The March will start at Bum’s Barking Lot and go up the West side of the Jenny Craig Pavilion to the traffic circle. Once the March reaches the traffic Circle, The Locals will form up around the walkway to the stadium. The Loyal and the away team will walk by on their way into the stadium. The Locals will then be let into the stadium for the match. The March will proceed to The Locals Section (109).
Please see Locals Code of Conduct and San Diego Loyal SC Alcohol Policy.
Please note that a certain chant during goal kicks will not be tolerated by The Locals or by The Club. Anyone in our section is required to be vaccinated or tested prior to the match, we will be helping you make sure before boarding and then you will be checked upon entry in Orange County. Plan accordingly.
• Alcohol on board? That’s a solid YES! We’ll be checking IDs and using wristbands to indicate who is over 21 and who isn’t. Please don’t come and try to use a fake or sneak a beer if you’re 20. You’ll spoil the ability for The Locals to provide an organized bus trip like this in the future. Don’t be that person.
• Beer? BEER. Refreshments from our partnered breweries (Creative Creature, Thr3e Punk Ales, Second Chance Brewing and Thorn Brewing) will be available for free! We’ll also provide some cider for the non-beer-drinkers and you’re always welcome to bring your own refreshments as well (no glass). Light snacks (like chips) as well as gatorade and water will also be available. Don’t be an idiot and drink too much and ruin this for us. Be responsible. You’re a reflection of The Locals, so act to the standard with which we’ve built this group on.
• Bathroom on board? Yeah, for sure. All that beer has gotta go somewhere!
• Anybody under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by a legal guardian. There are no exceptions to this. We cannot be liable for minors.
• Cancellation policy: No refunds for cancellations or no-shows. We depend on everybody’s payment to fund the trip, so issuing refunds for last minute cancellations or just straight-up no-shows isn’t gonna happen.
• Please check out the OCSC website on their stadium policies, again we will be seated (and your ticket will be sold to) a vaccinated or tested precursor. All of us need to abide by their stadium entry policies in full in order to get in. Items can be left on the bus, but we are not liable for any missing items.
The Locals are an independent supporters group run by volunteers, and membership income is used to build team spirit, community, and shared experiences. We are welcoming, inclusive, and anti-hate.
